About Atascocita

Atascocita is an unincorporated community in northeast Harris County on the west shore of Lake Houston. It grew around FM 1960, Atascocita Road and West Lake Houston Parkway, and today it holds dozens of subdivisions, from established neighborhoods with mature trees to newer master-planned sections with amenity centers.

The lake shapes daily life here. Atascocita Shores and other lakeside neighborhoods have homes with water views and boat access, and residents fish, kayak and watch sunsets over the water. Golf is part of the area too, with the Atascocita Country Club among the courses nearby. Eagle Springs offers pools, a lake and a large amenity center, while Atascocita Forest, Timber Forest and the Pines of Atascocita give buyers established homes at a range of price points.

Quick Facts

Atascocita is served by Humble ISD, including Atascocita High School.
