About Kings Point Village
Living in Kings Point Village
Kings Point Village is one of the largest villages in Kingwood, with about 1,592 single family homes on the east side of the community in ZIP code 77345. It sits off Kingwood Drive between the Deerwood golf course and East End Park, Kingwood’s nature park along Lake Houston. The village was built out by 1991, and HAR shows an average home size above 3,800 square feet, so many Kings Point homes are generously sized. The village grew in stages as Kingwood expanded east of US 59 in the 1980s, so you will find everything from established brick homes to larger estates on wooded lots.
Living here means the outdoors is close. East End Park offers trails through the woods and along the water, and the village connects to Kingwood’s greenbelt, part of more than 75 miles of trails created since Friendswood Development and King Ranch began Kingwood in 1971. Golfers have Deerwood next door. Kingwood’s village list also includes a separate section, the Reserve at Kings Point. Kingwood Drive also leads straight to Kingwood Town Center and the shops and restaurants along West Lake Houston Parkway. For boaters and anglers, River Grove Park’s boat ramp and Kings Harbor’s waterfront are short drives away, and East End Park’s wooded trails are a favorite for walkers.
Kings Point is zoned to Humble ISD. Community Impact lists Willow Creek Elementary, Riverwood Middle School and Kingwood High School for the village, and we confirm the current campuses for each address. With Lake Houston and East End Park nearby, as with every home we represent near water, we review the flood zone and the seller’s disclosures with you before you make an offer. Elevation and drainage vary across the village, which is one more reason we look at each property individually.
Homes in Kings Point were built over a decade or more, from the 1980s into the early 1990s, so condition and updates vary. We compare against true Kings Point sales by size and lot. Lot sizes and tree cover can vary considerably within the village, and we walk each property with you so you can judge the setting as well as the house. Our live feed below shows every Kings Point listing on the market right now, and we can set up instant alerts so you hear about new homes the day they list.
Kings Point draws a lot of move up buyers, including families who started in a smaller Kingwood village and now want more room. That often means selling one home and buying another at the same time. We coordinate both transactions, from the listing plan to the closing dates, so you are not forced into a rushed decision on either side. We also review the village HOA documents, the Kingwood Service Association deed restrictions and the full tax picture before you commit.
