About Spring Trails

Living in Spring Trails

Spring Trails is a planned community of about 2,100 acres in Spring, in Montgomery County and the 77386 ZIP code. It is bordered by the Grand Parkway on the north, Old Holzwarth Road on the west and the Spring Creek Greenway on the south and east, and the Hardy Toll Road is about a mile and a half away. Development began in 2003 under Houston based Midway, and the community has grown into 19 residential sections, three of them gated. The community is roughly 35 minutes from downtown Houston and about 25 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport, and it sits close to Rayford Road and the shopping along the Grand Parkway.

The outdoors are the main attraction. More than 400 acres of forest are preserved inside the community, and about 10 miles of hike and bike trails wind through it. Residents enjoy a recreation center with pools, a cabana and playground, Cardinal Sports Park with tennis, basketball and pickleball courts, a stocked pond for catch and release fishing, and easy access to the Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center next door. Canyon Lakes at Spring Trails is one of the sections within the community. The Spring Creek Greenway connects parks and preserves along the creek, so residents can reach longer trail rides and paddling spots beyond the neighborhood’s own paths. With more than 400 acres of preserved forest, much of the community feels like a park, and many homes back up to trees rather than neighbors.

Most homes are single family designs in traditional and modern cottage styles from builders such as Perry Homes, David Weekley Homes and Highland Homes. Spring Trails is in Conroe ISD, and Broadway Elementary sits inside the community. We confirm the zoned campuses for every address. Because the community borders Spring Creek, we review the flood zone and seller disclosures for every home we show. Homes often feature open floor plans, high ceilings and brick or stone exteriors, and the community also includes builders such as Village Builders. Older students attend Cox Intermediate and York Junior High before moving on to Grand Oaks High or Oak Ridge High, depending on the address. We also review the rules and assessments for the three gated sections, which carry additional fees, so you know the full cost of ownership.

Spring Trails owners often find themselves competing with newer homes nearby, so pricing and presentation matter. Let us show you what your Spring Trails home is worth and how to stand out. Buyers can browse the current listings below and call Stacy Sherman at 832-445-8934 to tour. If you need to sell first to buy here, we can coordinate both sides of the move.
